Tennis Pro

I am a proud graduate of both Allegan High School and Central Michigan University. While attending Central Michigan I played number 1 in both singles and doubles. I began my teaching career with the Mid American Tennis Academy and after leaving there had a brief stint playing on the satellite circuit. When those dreams of greatness evaporated, I resumed my teaching career at the Bollettieri Tennis Academy and later The Colony Beach and Tennis resort. I later left tennis as a full time position while raising my children and went into the restaurant business. I stayed active in tennis throughout those years both playing, teaching and coaching high school tennis. Many of you know me from opening The Courts facility but I quickly realized after several years of retirement my passion wasn’t in management but was and still is on the tennis court. I have had experience with all levels, high performance, intermediate club players as well as beginners and find equal satisfaction in all. My style is a bit old school, I like to throw a lot of things out there throughout my lessons until I find the one thing that sticks and works for you. I grade my lessons on your improvement and your satisfaction with our time together. Looking forward to seeing you on the courts!
